GERRY ALANGUILAN Gerry Alanguilan is a licensed architect who chooses to write and draw comic books. In his native Philippines he has created comics including Timawa, Crest Hut Butt Shop, Dead Heart and Wasted. Wasted has received acclaim abroad from writers like Warren Ellis and Steven Grant, and is now currently being shot as in independent film in the Philippines. In America, he has contributed inks on such titles as X-Men, Fantastic Four, Wolverine, X-Force, Darkness, Stone and High Roads, working with pencillers Leinil Francis Yu and Whilce Portacio. He is currently inking Superman: Birthright for DC Comics and is putting together Komikero, a portfolio of his sketches, illustrations and comics. Gerry’s illustrations and comics appear in Graphic Classics: H.P. Lovecraft, Graphic Classics: Jack London, Graphic Classics: Bram Stoker and Graphic Classics: O. Henry.
