CYNTHIA MARTIN

Cynthia Martin was born in southern California and attended school there. At the age of 22 she was hired for her first professional assignment, penciling the monthly comic book Star Wars for Marvel Comics. In the years since she’s continued to work in comics, animation and children’s publishing, and her comics credits include Wonder Woman, Spiderman, Blue Beetle and Boom Studio’s anthology Zombie Tales.

For Graphic Classics Cynthia has illustrated O. Henry’s “A Chaparral Christmas Gift” for Christmas Classics (to be released October 2010) and Zane Grey’s “Riders of the Purple Sage” for the upcoming Western Classics (February 2011).
