AL FELDSTEIN Al Feldstein is best-known to comics fans for his four decades of work at EC Comics as artist, writer and editor on titles including Weird Science, Tales from the Crypt and Vault of Horror. In 1956 he took over as editor of Mad Magazine, presiding over the most popular years of the publication, until his retirement from comics in 1984. Al moved to Wyoming, and later to Montana, where he began a second career as a painter of western life and landscapes. More examples of his western art can be viewed at www.alfeldstein.com.
