| GAHAN WILSON
Wilsons instantly-recognizable macabre drawings have appeared in many magazines, including Playboy and The New Yorker. He has published fifteen collections of his cartoons, the most recent being Gahan Wilsons Even Weirder (Forge Books, 1996). He has written and illustrated several childrens books, including The Bang Bang Family and Harry the Fat Bear Spy. His work has recently been adapted to animation for television. Gahan is also an accomplished short story and mystery writer with Eddy Decos Last Caper, Everybodys Favorite Duck, and The Cleft and Other Odd Tales (Tor Books, 1998). His story, The Manuscript of Dr. Arness appeared in Rosebud 23. The illustrated version of The Conqueror Worm which appears in Graphic Classics: Edgar Allan Poe was originally created for The Raven and Other Poems, part of the short-lived revival of Classics Illustrated comics from Berkley/First Publishing in 1990. Gahan Wilson provided the introduction to Graphic Classics: H. P. Lovecraft,, and his art appears in Graphic Classics: Ambrose Bierce.
