MATT HOWARTH Best known for his Those Annoying Post Bros. series, Matt has spent his career mixing the genres of science fiction, comic books, and alternative music into a unique and entertaining gestalt. His twisted talents have spawned innumerable comic books, several novels, and nearly 100 digital publications. He has collaborated with a variety of international musicians to create a revival of the “concept album” in the 21st century, mixing music and graphic storytelling, and musicians have “guest starred” in many of his comics. He has drawn graphic adaptations of works by Greg Bear, Hal Clement, Warren Ellis, Chinese poet Pu Songling, and Vernor Vinge, and recently released his Lovecraftian science fiction novel, The Eden Retrieval (2011, Merry Blackmith Press).
