S.T. Joshi is the compiler (with David E. Schultz) of Ambrose Bierce: A Bibliography of Primary Sources (1999) along with editions of Bierce’s A Sole Survivor: Bits of Autobiography (1998), The Unabridged Devil’s Dictionary (2000), Collected Fables (2000), and a forthcoming edition of Bierce’s Collected Short Fiction. He has also edited corrected editions of the fiction, poetry, and essays of H.P. Lovecraft. Among his critical and biographical studies are The Weird Tale (1990), Lord Dunsany: Master of the Anglo-Irish Imagination (1995), H.P. Lovecraft: A Life (1996), and The Modern Weird Tale (2001).
