RENO MANIQUIS Reno has been writing short stories for comics in his native Philippines since age 13 and illustrating them since he was 14. During his college days, he created the newspaper strip Maskarado (Masked Man) and in the late ’90s he revived the character as a self-published comic book. He has contributed to various publications in the Philippines, including the award-winning anthology Siglo: Passion, Colors Magazine in Europe, and independent publishers in the U.S. like 803 Studios’ Sequential Suicide: Slop, Ultimate Comics’ Stormblazer and Twenty To Six Books’ The Hierograph. He has also also published Tabloid Komiks, an anthology which showcases stories and art from Filipino creators. Reno works as an advertising industry art director, and is currently the regular artist on Wall of Angels, published by Twenty To Six Books.
