TED RICHARDS

Following his involvement with Dan O’Neill and the infamous Air Pirates, Ted Richards studied at San Francisco State University, where he graduated in 1977, majoring in creative writing. He is the creator of The Forty-Year-Old Hippie, which appeared as a syndicated feature in numerous alternative tabloids, and college newspapers, and comics including E.Z. Wolf, Mellow Cat and Dopin’ Dan. After ten years as a professional cartoonist, Ted made a career change and is now a web designer and marketing consultant.
