MICHAEL SLACK

Michael is an illustrator and animator whose work has appeared in publications including The New York Times, Nickelodeon Magazine and Time Magazine. He has designed characters for Aardman Animation and Passion Pictures in the U.K., and his first book, The Land of O, received a 2002 Xeric Foundation grant. His adaptation of The Hypnotist appeared in Graphic Classics: Ambrose Bierce, and he co-illustrated Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde for Graphic Classics: Robert Louis Stevenson, as well as painting the stunning cover for the book.
