ANNE TIMMONS

Anne was born in Portland, and has a BFA from Oregon State University. In addition to her collaboration on the Lulu Award-winning GoGirl! with Trina Robbins, Anne’s work includes the Eisner Award-nominated Dignifying Science and the comics version of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. She has also drawn and painted children’s books and covers and interior art for magazines including Comic Book Artist and Wired. She illustrated a poem in Graphic Classics: Robert Louis Stevenson, a comics version of “The Handsome Cabin Boy” for Graphic Classics: Jack London, and “Northanger Abbey” for Gothic Classics. Her art from the anthology 9-11 Artists Respond is now included in the Library of Congress Collection. Samples of Anne’s work are at www.homepage.mac.com/tafrin.
